Job summary

We are looking for an experienced human resource professional to lead the Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations Teams and Business Partner to Corporate services. Ensuring the delivery of key performance indicators and objectives. Responsible for developing, advising, and aligning workforce strategies and plans for the Trust, to meet organisational objectives. The postholder will support the Trusts vision of being the leading provider of mental health and learning disability services, and an employer of choice. Develop and lead a team of high performing strategic Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations Team. Working closely with colleagues within the People and OD Team, Corporate Services, and the Divisions to ensure that service delivery and plans are aligned to the needs of the Trust. Initiating and implementing joint People and OD projects within the Divisions that will lead to service improvement. Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and statutory regulation and working closely with our accredited trade union colleagues to build working relationships. Developing a culture of continuous learning and improvement and service delivery. The role will also provide a business partner service to our Corporate Services.

Main duties of the job

Provide leadership and management to a team of HR Business Partners and the Employee Relations Team. Support the HR Business Partners to develop and implement workforce plans within their Divisions which are aligned to the Trust strategies and objectives. Ensure the delivery of regular People and OD reports to the senior management team, identifying Trust wide trends and implementing appropriate actions to deliver improvements. Implement and monitor workforce KPI metrics which provide assurance on productivity and quality measures across the Trust, taking appropriate action when required. Provide leadership and direction to the Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations Team to ensure that a high-quality business partnering service is delivered to the Trust, which supports the delivery of the highest quality care to our service users. This role is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the Trust's Employee Relations Manager who is responsible for overseeing and managing employee relations casework, ensuring that case work is carried out in line with he Trusts KPIs and in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
