Job summary
Job SummaryTo provide a specialist clinical psychology service to adults with learning disabilities andservice providers and carers within Astley Court and Norfolk. To provide specialistpsychological assessment and interventions, as well as offering advice and consultationon service user psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other nonprofessional carers. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and theoverall framework of the teams policies and procedures. To use research skills foraudit, service development and research. Contribute to identifying key areas andpriorities for psychology service provision.The post holder will liaise with the Community Assessment and Treatment Service(ATS) inter-disciplinary teams, colleagues in Hertfordshire Partnership NHS FoundationTrust (HPFT) and Community Learning Disability Teams in Hertfordshire CountyCounsel. In addition the post holder will liaise with other Statutory, Voluntary andPrivate sector agencies involved and responsible for service user's care.
