Job summary
An exciting opportunity for the post of Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse has become vacant within our Adult Community Mental Health Services in the Welwyn Garden City/Hatfield area of Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will receive up to £120 towards their registration fee, which will be paid upon commencement. This payment will be subject to tax and national insurance deductions.
Main duties of the job
In accordance with the systems, policies, standards and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust you will be responsible for the delivery of care to an allocated caseload: including implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Care Plans within the CPA Framework; administering and/or supervision of administration of prescribed medication and liaising with other professionals including GPs and external agencies. You will also ensure full compliance with aftercare issues such as Social Care requirements.
The postholder will be required to be compliant with the Mental Health Act, Code Of Practice and other relevant legislation.
