We have a vacancy for a Band 6 Inpatient Forensic Charge Nurse at Beech Ward, our Hertfordshire-based low-secure unit for people with mental illnesses and personality disorders. This is the perfect opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse with at least two years' experience at Band 5. It would be ideal for someone seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and rewarding environment where no two days are the same. Working hours involve shifts, including some nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and team-working skills are essential for this role, as well as initiative, mature judgment and a calm and friendly manner. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage competing demands and organise their own work effectively to ensure the smooth running of the unit. They will also need a good understanding of relational security and be prepared to model and promote the Trust's values at all times.

Qualifications And Training:

The successful candidate must have RNMH/RNLD/RMN/RGN and be registered with the NMC. Mentorship training and a minimum of two years' experience at Band 5 are essential. Experience of working in other clinical settings would be an advantage.
