Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Analytics Officer to join us here at HPFT, we are a values led organisation and we are looking for someone who shares our values to join us in this key role and be a key player in our 'great together' strategy. This role will be the lead in providing high quality data and management information. This will be instrumental in aiding effective decision making with our executive team. The role holder will integrate with a wide range of functions across the Trust, and be a key influencer in innovation.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for being the subject matter expertise on a range of health and care datasets as collected by different providers, in order to support a range of varied integrated care system functions. They will deal with deal with complex and conflicting subject matter problems or in day-to-day workload in workshops, meetings, one on one communications and other events, comprising various parts of the business.

  • Responsible for timely production of accurate, high-quality data and translate these into management information to inform and aid effective decision making at Board of Directors, Executive Team, Clinical Groups, Team and individual level.
  • To work closely with the Analytical and Digital Teams across the system to prioritise and develop the data assets needed to support the local analytical and digital strategies.

Essential

  • oITIL 4 Framework
  • oKnowledge of ISO 27001
  • oBroad understanding of digital technologies (micro) services architectures, mobile applications, systems integration)
  • oThorough working knowledge of Digital, Cloud and Integration technologies including SOA.
  • oIn depth knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Design Patterns - ability to apply cloud native tooling and approaches
  • oExperience of Cloud Operating Model implementation
  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
  • Experience of project and programme management techniques and tools including both Agile and Prince 2 or Managing Successful Projects

Desirable

  • oEnterprise Architecture framework certification, pref - The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF)

Knowledge

Essential

  • Strong background in Data Architecture and Business Analysis in a complex regulated environment
  • User centric design thinking or service redesign experience
  • Evidence of knowledge and application of IT components deployment at scale - Application/Data and Infrastructure layers
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the basics of current technologies and trends, especially those relating to Interoperability and data integration in the context of:-
  • Participation in Proof of Concepts, (5 case) Business Case production, including vendor/Tech roadmaps and lifecycle status,
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret information to support evidence-based decision making
  • Strong presentation & communication skills suitable for all levels within the business
  • Strong facilitation, persuasion and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders and audiences, including technical, clinical, operational and strategic / policy
