Location: 15 Forest Lane, Kingsley Green, Harper Lane, Radlett, WD7 9HQ

The event will consist of:

We have some great incentives that we can offer:

  • Recruitment and Retention premia of £500 per month pro rata until 31 March 2023 per annum (T&Cs apply)

Main duties of the job

Forest House is a 16 bedded inpatient unit for 12-18 year olds suffering with emotional, behavioural and psychiatric problems.

The unit offers young people a 24-hour, 7 day a week service, assessing, treating and evaluating care through a variety of therapeutic techniques, family work, individual work, group work and the day-to-day milieu.

Staff Nurse Band 5 - Main duties of the job

  • To actively fulfill the role of Named Nurse for the individuals in theservice area, providing a holistic approach to service user assessment, treatment, review and management of packages of care.
  • To have the clinical skills relative to the delivery of care in the servicearea.
  • To have effective working relationships with other professionals within the service area, across the Strategic Business Units, (SBUs) Trust and other NHS providers and key stakeholders
  • To contribute towards effective management and utilisation ofresources with service area.
  • To lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse
