We have some great incentives that we can offer:

The successful candidate will receive up to £120 towards their registration fee, which will be paid upon commencement. This payment will be subject to tax and national insurance deductions.

Main duties of the job

Forest House is a 16 bedded inpatient unit for 12-18 year olds suffering with emotional, behavioural and psychiatric problems.

The unit offers young people a 24-hour, 7 day a week service, assessing, treating and evaluating care through a variety of therapeutic techniques, family work, individual work, group work and the day-to-day milieu.

Staff Nurse Band 5 - Main duties of the job

To actively fulfill the role of Named Nurse for the individuals in theservice area, providing a holistic approach to service user assessment, treatment, review and management of packages of care.
To have the clinical skills relative to the delivery of care in the servicearea.
To have effective working relationships with other professionals within the service area, across the Strategic Business Units, (SBUs) Trust and other NHS providers and key stakeholders
To contribute towards effective management and utilisation ofresources with service area.
To lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse

To act as the lead nurse / care co-ordinator for a group of young people within an inpatient setting. To be responsible for the assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation of nursing care within the multi-disciplinary team.
