Job summary
An exciting opportunity for the post of Team/Unit Administrator has become vacant within the AMHP Service, based at Kingsley Green Hospital, Radlett.
You will have experience of working in a busy community based setting, providing a comprehensive range of administrative support to a team of Community based Mental Health Professionals, Team Leaders and Management. You will also take a lead within the Admin Team for Data Quality and the E Roster system.
You will be expected to assist and provide appropriate advice and information to Service Users (Adults of all ages) and members of the public as appropriate and required via the Duty Desk phone. You will also liaise with other professionals inside and outside of the Trust as applicable.
The postholder will be expected to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft IT applications (such Word, Excel and Outlook) and be able to access required information from Trust Systems and the Internet. The postholder will also be expected to demonstrate effective communications skills. Previous experience of medical IT Systems would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
- Responsibility for ensuring all correspondence is accurately and appropriately presented using current methodologies and medical terminology used by the team.
- To be highly skilled and experienced in the full range of secretarial work practices, software programmes, and specialised functional terms.
- To use proficient internet skills to input, access, search and retrieve data relevant to team.
- To use knowledge, and experience to meet the needs of the teams by completing non-routine tasks on a daily basis.
- To update skills as necessary and attend mandatory training
- To demonstrate excellent IT skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accurate audio typing is essential.
- To update the E Roster staff system with bank shifts, annual leave and sickness.
- To keep the tracker for AMHP team up to date.
