We currently have opportunities to join the Nursing Bank within Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) in Radlett as a Psychologist for our CAMHS team

All roles on the bank are for as and when workers and therefore in particular may suit those already working part-time, with other commitments, or who want to work on a short-term basis.

Job Summary:

  • The postholder will provide specialist clinical psychological assessment and treatment to young people and adolescents with mental health disorders that are admitted to Forest House Adolescent Unit
  • The post-holder will provide specialist support, guidance and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non- professional carers within community mental health services, primary care and other agencies
  • The postholder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team at Forest House Adolescent Unit, as well as a range of other psychological therapy colleagues within the inpatient unit
  • The postholder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures
  • The postholder will utilise research skills for audit, teaching, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service
