Job summary
Do you enjoy a challenge, like clinical work and prefer a combination of medical and surgical specialities? Do you have venepuncture, scrub nursing skills and/or compression therapy experience? Then this may be the perfect position for you. An exciting opportunity is now available for a Band 5 staff Nurse in Outpatients. The job will require multisite working between the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, and the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove.
Main duties of the job
* Basic patient care
* Patient observations
*Setting up and running both medical and surgical clinics
* Chaperoning during patient examinations/procedures
* Working in accordance with NMC codes/Trust policies and procedures
* Performing nursing tasks in clinics such as, scrub nursing skills, applying compression therapy, venepuncture, handling and cleansing of ENT equipment.
