An exciting
opportunity has arisen for a band 7 nurse with a passion for respiratory
medicine to join our respiratory ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
You will lead
a dedicated team delivering a high standard of nursing care to our respiratory
patients.
ARU is a 31
bedded unit that includes an 8 bedded high care area for non-invasive positive
pressure ventilation and an Intervention Room for day case procedures.
We are
looking for a highly motivated experienced registered nurse who will be able to
demonstrate significant band 6/7 experience to work with both patients and
staff to enhance respiratory care within ARU.
You will
have experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and agencies to
proactively plan effective, safe discharges.

Main duties of the job
You will require advanced knowledge of respiratory disease and deliver a high standard of nursing care. A teaching qualification and advanced experience of caring for patients with respiratory disease are essential for this post holder.
