We are looking for motivated, forward thinking and compassionate nurses to work within our nursing team in the Cardiac Catheter Suite / Cardiology.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking team. Cardiac Catheter Suite / Cardiology at Worcester includes 2 laboratories providing 24/7 PPCI for the populations of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. In addition, we also undertake electrophysiology studies; ablation and implantation of complex devices.

Experience in venepuncture, cannulation and the care of acutely ill patients would be an advantage, also experience mentoring students.

We welcome newly or recently qualified staff nurses with good communication skills and pride themselves on delivering quality care under supervision.

We have an induction and teaching package for staff in the Cardiac Catheter Suite and work closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

Using your clinical experience and skills you will work with your team as a named nurse to maintain accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care within the framework of team nursing.

Acting with compassion you will put patients at the centre of all you do.

This role will require you to work variable hours in order to fulfil the needs of the ward.
