Job summary
A Band 7 Clinical Scientist position has opened at the Worcestershire Oncology Centre for a Radiotherapy Physicist.
We are entering a busy time of commissioning at the Worcestershire Oncology Centre as we plan to install a replacement CT scanner and three replacement linear accelerators over the next few years.

Main duties of the job
To provide Scientific Expertise in all aspects of Radiotherapy Physics including Treatment Planning, Machine Quality Control, Dose Measurement, Mould Room, and Commissioning of new equipment and techniques.
Band 7 Clinical Scientists are involved in routine tasks within the department as well as project work in line with the departments strategy and to promote continual improvement. In addition, this post holder will participate in training a range of staff and engage with the Radiotherapy Quality System.
