Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Programme Manager to lead the delivery of our Electronic Patients Record (EPR) Programme.
You will manage a fast-paced and dynamic EPR Programme team focussed on delivery and maximising outcomes from our Altera Sunrise EPR solution.The team are currently focussed on our ePMA phase but as this delivers, attention will turn to the next phases which include a revamp of our Theatres Digital solution.

You will also need to demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines with consistency and assurance as well as share the vision of how digital systems can revolutionise patient safety and improve patient outcomes. We need to ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered and you will be involved in all aspects of the planning, delivery and evaluation of solutions to align with the new EPR.
The EPR Programme Manager will be accountable to the EPR Programme Director, and the role will encompass working across the wider Digital programme.
Main duties of the job
The EPR Programme Manager will be responsible for implementing the EPR solution in conjunction with the supplier, Altera health. It will include delivering and embedding new functionality and realisation of benefits identified. As part of deployment the post holder will be responsible for delivery of multiple and varied projects and programmes to support delivery of the Electronic Patient Record. Responsible for designing, developing and ongoing maintenance of the programme structure and governance arrangements to deliver sustainable service improvement in line with strategic objectives. Planning the programme and monitoring its overall progress and performance. In addition, monitoring the progress against all detailed project plans, including dependencies and interfaces between different projects and programmes within the Trust. Lead and manage effective co-ordination of the projects and their dependencies/interfaces, analysing conflicts between projects/programmes and taking corrective action to resolve them. This can involve conveying contentious information and negotiating agreements to enable on-going progress. Manage external technology partners to the Trust and ensure alignment of resources across the key suppliers to maintain momentum. Drive the programme to deliver key milestones within agreed timescales and overall delivery of the programme, demonstrating achievement of outcomes/business change in accordance with the programme plan and governance arrangements.
