Assistant Project Support Officer. This is a permanent full-time role, and we
are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced
individual.
As
an Assistant Project Support Officer, you will report directly to the Project
Support Officer Team lead and will play a key role in providing robust project
support to the Programme Management Office.
You
will be required to negotiate, problem solve, use your initiative, and
demonstrate resilience and determination with minimum supervision to meet
deadlines.

Main duties of the job
The main responsibility of the role is to provide
assistance for tasks to support the delivery of projects as required by the Project
Support Officer and wider Strategy & Planning team.
Provide Project and Administrative support to the. PMO team.
Support delivery of the Trusts projects and programmes.
Support the production of documentation relating to the projects and
BAU.
To provide support to the Theatre and other Programmes
Operate, maintain, and provide support in the use of the PMO toolset.
Co-ordinate and provide support for relevant project managers meetings.
Establish and maintain the Trusts project documentation library.
Assist in the production of key project documentation.
Assist in conducting project audits.
Other project duties as and when required.
Effectively plan, resource, and monitor small-scale projects, with
support of Project Support Officer.
Direct and motivate the project team
Identify and manage all stakeholders.
Agree any delegation and use of project assurance roles required by relevant
Project board.
Prepare Project, Stage and, if necessary, Exception Plans in
conjunction with Team Managers, and appointed project assurance roles, and
agree them with relevant Project Boards.
Manage business and project risks, including the development of
contingency plans.
Support with work
prioritisation.
Deliver key governance documentation in association with project
delivery.

Assistant Project Support
Officer to support the management
of the Programme Management Office with the delivery of the Trusts key
strategic programmes and projects. Closely
engaging with all levels of staff and suppliers to deliver the required deliverables
in compliance with the Trusts governance processes. Due to the close working relationships
required with Trust colleagues, on-site working will be required on a regular
and sometimes ad hoc basis, including being on-site at least two days per week.
Staff Management
