Job summary
This will be an interesting and varied role working across teams within the department. The successful candidate is likely to be involved with a number of projects as well as the day to day BAU ( Business As Usual ) type tasks and issues.This role will be a useful first step for anyone looking to pursue a career in IT. Full training will be given.

- The Apprenticeship will be on a fixed term contract for 18 months with opportunity to apply for roles within the NHS on completion.
- Salary will be paid at National Apprentice wage currently £6.40 per hour with a yearly salary of £12,480 for the first 12 months and minimum wage for age for the final 6 months.
- You will work 37.5 hours per week with on the job and off the job learning opportunities and receive 6 hours paid study time.
- 27 days paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
Act primarily as an IT support technician working across various teams within Digital. Assist with a range of new and ongoing projects within the department. Help to improve, as well as maintain, the trusts Active Directory. Assist with documentation and the data accuracy of a number of internal systems.Assist in resolving IT/application issues, once appropriate level of knowledge has been gained.
