We are looking for a dynamic, keen and experienced pharmacist to come and deliver the pharmacy service to our surgical specialties, delivering best practice care to patients based at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Worcester.
The post offers a skilled post diploma clinical pharmacist the opportunity to deliver and further develop pharmacy services to surgery and help to shape the development of pharmacy staff of the future.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities for the postswill include:
- Leading the specialist clinical pharmacy service to surgical wards utilising your prescribing skills
- Providing specialist advice on medications and treatments to the specialties within the division and other pharmacists within the trust
- Act as a mentor and role model for pharmacists and technicians
- Support workforce development by coordinating the training and education of the band 6 and 7 pharmacists to ensure every staff member has the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential
- Assess and identify key areas for service development and expansion in conjunction with the team lead
