Job summary

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are now seeking to recruit a part time experienced Executive Assistant to provide support within the Executive Office based at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital site, with the need to attend the Alexandra Hospital/Kidderminster Hospital, as and when required to meet the needs of the service. This is a job-share role working 22.5 hours per week Wednesday to Friday.

We are looking for a creative, dynamic and organised individual to work within the existing EA Team, supporting the Executive Directors and ensuring effective administration procedures are established and maintained.

This is an interesting and fast-paced role and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to manage conflicting priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years previous EA experience, working in a very busy environment. They will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To provide comprehensive executive secretarial/administrative service to the Executive Directors, utilising a full range of technical skills in the production of correspondence, reports, and presentations without supervision.

To have extensive experience in complex diary management and hold advanced keyboard skills.

  • Experience of working across organisations with multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of NHS systems, processes and current developments and vision within the NHS at a local, regional and national level
  • Experience of developing effective office policies, procedures and processes
  • Ability to plan and organise a broad range of complex activities and or programmes, which require on-going formulation/adjustment
  • Experienced and skilled user of Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience, competency and a highly developed skill set in minute taking
  • Use and interpret data effectively
