The Executive Team has approved and supports the Psychological Services Care Unit delivering to associated streams of work to support EPUT's transformation to become a Trauma Informed Trust with defined reported structures in development.
The Trauma Informed Research Delivery Support role will be responsible for assisting in the planning, delivery and gathering data from workshops conducted with all care units in order to formulate an action plan for each care group, and the Trust as a whole through a Trust-wide gap analysis and action plan. This post is designed to support the implementation of Trauma Informed Care (TIC) through service evaluation (utilising the ROOTs Tool) and audit activities. It will support workshop facilitation, analysing quantitative and qualitative data and. A robust interface with lived experience ambassadors and people accessing services is key throughout role delivery to ensure valid measures of TIC throughout EPUT care.
Main duties of the job
The post will be managed by the Senior Psychologist Lead for TIC Implementation, focusing on ethical system based project implementation and professional development. The role will also work closely with the Transformation Project Manager and be part of a robust project team oversight for assurance purposes. The post will be accountable to the Clinical Director of Psychological Services, who holds overall accountability and responsibility for the TIC project completion and associated dissemination of learning.
There is an expectation of research competence and to be able to provide the support needed right away. The post holder will have support from the wider research team in the psychological services care unit and research team in the Trust.
