An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are in the position to recruit Band 4 Associate Practitioner for our ECTAS Accredited Colchester ECT Team. The ECT Suite is based at The Lakes, Colchester

The post holder is will work within the ECT Clinic and will be required to carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and non-direct care for the benefit of patient and ECT service across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
As an Associate Practitioner you will support and work with the ECT Team under the guidance of the ECT Manager or Deputy to carry out assigned relevant forms of care in relation to ECT service in the clinic. You will be responsible for assisting in the management and care of service users based on their individual needs. You will also act as a mentor to students and junior staff, and be responsible for supervising unqualified staff.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organizations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services.
In delivering your duties you are expected to display behaviours that are aligned with the Trust values and as required in accordance with the NHS Constitution at all times.
