We have an exciting opportunity to recruit number of brand new opportunities Band 5 Senior Nursery Nurse roles. Are you looking for an opportunity that will enable you to utilise your skill set to the max?

We have implemented a Neurodevelopmental pathway approach to the lighthouse child development centre so we can focus on multidisciplinary ways of working, in support of the community transformation model. As Band 5 Senior Nursery Nurse you will want to develop your skills in working in neurodiversity community and team. A comprehensive and tailored developmental plan will be designed with the post holder depending on training development needs identified.

You will be part of a team responsible for a designated caseload of children, young people who are suspected to be autistic or attention deficit disorder. You will work as part of our integrated multi-disciplinary team, and participate in the clinical decision-making process to determine the most appropriate management plans for all service users who are under the care of the team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be a Paediatric Neurodevelopmental ASD Pre-School Senior Nursery Nurse who holds a recognised management / Leadership qualification or willing to undertake training who will work within the service area under the line management of the Team Leader. The post holder will have a responsibility to carry out clinical contact/duties in line with competencies for patients, families/ carers.

The post holder will work in partnership with the Lighthouse Child Development Centre Receptionist, Administrator Officers, Centre Manger, Multi-Disciplinary Team and other agencies, to ensure that excellent standards of care are provided.

The Paediatric Neurodevelopmental ASD Pre-School Senior Nursery Nurse will be a member of the Paediatric ASD team that provides support, information and guidance to all children and young people and their families within the Pathways.

As part of the Paediatric ASD team, the post-holder will provide a safe, effective, and high-quality service to clients using research-based evidence to inform practice within agreed professional standards.
