Job summary

Personal Assistant to the Associate Director of Psychological Services (NHS Talking Therapies)

Band 4 -37.5 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised, efficient and motivated person to join our Psychological Services senior management team (SMT) in the role of PA to the Associate Clinical Director (ACD) of Psychological Services for NHS Talking Therapies at EPUT. You will be an experienced administrator with the interpersonal attributes, skills and experience that reflect the responsibilities of supporting senior managerial positions in a large and innovative health care Trust. You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to support the work of the ACD ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.

This is a crucial role supporting the Associate Clinical Director of Psychological Services (NHS Talking Therapies) providing strategic, operational and clinical functions within the Trust.The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to prioritise workload in this busy role.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Associate Clinical Director of Psychological Services (ACD). Assist the ACD in operational administration and systems for the service. Assist in organisation and management of the ACD's diary.

Organise administration services in a timely manner for a range of functions as requested by the Associate Clinical Director of Psychological Services (NHS Talking Therapies) and provide administration support to their senior management team.

Essential

  • Good written and spoken English
  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration and /or equivalent experience or qualification (e.g. RSA 3

  • Recognised Secretarial Qualification/AMSPAR
  • Certified courses or undergraduate degree relevant to the job role

Knowledge

  • Advanced IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook
