An exciting opportunity has arisen in West Home First Team Derwent Centre, for highly motivated, dynamic and forward thinking Band 6 Nurse. We are looking for a highly committed individual who is flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic with a special interest in home treatment.

Main duties of the job
For this post you need to drive, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively in a multidisciplinary team environment. You will be expected to visit service users in their own homes to support and guide them during crisis period. You will be expected to support STR workers, Associate Practitioners, Community nurses, Advanced nurse practitioners and the Clinical Lead in implementing effective changes within the team to ensure the service meets the Trust's objectives.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

Active participation will be required in the training and education of learners allocated to the community settings, and will also encourage integration between the ward teams and the community services.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate of being fully IT literate.
Support is given by way of regular meaningful supervision and appraisal, reflective practice and Trust wellbeing services of advice and counselling.
Successful candidates must be compliant with all mandatory training, obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure Certificate and hold full registration with the NMC.
