This post is a Fixed Term contract until June 25th 2025.
The post holder will work with the Communications Director and wider communications team to develop and sustain an effective communications service for Essex Partnership University Trust,. The post holder will focus on supporting EPUT's internal and external communications around the Essex Mental Health Inquiry reporting into the Head of Public Affairs within the Trust's Communications Team with a dotted line into the Inquiry project team.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day management including planning and allocation of resources and tasks.
- Lead in the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications campaigns focussed on ensuring staff understand the progress of the Inquiry and the support available to them. The post holder will also support the Head of Public Affairs to coordinate the management of MP and external stakeholder communications and work with the Head of Communications to ensure that there is alignment across media handling in relation to the Inquiry. This includes managing budgets and schedules, and external contractors and suppliers as required.
- Commission, write and edit complex internal and external communications materials including reports, articles, media releases, statements and information products.
- Develop a communications plan to support the Inquiry, working with the project team,- writing content. coordinating attendance, attending and producing virtual and live events
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all the Trust's communication systems and platforms.
- Work in partnership with colleagues from teams across the Trust, and where appropriate external partner organisations, to deliver Inquiry related communications programmes.
