HR Recruitment Officer
Band 4
Fixed Term contract 12 months from start date
Salary - £25,147 - £27,596 per annum + 5% fringe
Hours - 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
It is an exciting time for Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Resourcing Team we need enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team to help us deliver new projects and challenges.
The successful candidates will initially be home based and IT equipment will be provided however, you will be required to work on site (Thurrock Community Hospital) at least one day a week this can vary due to annual leave and sickness cover.
Main duties of the job
If you are successful, you will be working with an experienced resourcing team. You will also be working autonomously and providing support to recruiting managers across the Trust in regards to all aspects of Recruitment and HR Administration.
Key responsibilities of the role include;
- Advertising job vacancies through TRAC, NHS Jobs and social media where required
- Providing advice and support to managers in relation to all aspects of the recruitment process and HR administration where required
- Conducting pre-employment checks in line with NHS Employment check standards
- Ensuring all payroll documents are completed and data entry is completed in line with payroll deadline
- Ensure current employees have professional registration and immigration status that is up to date and valid in line with legal requirements.
This is a very busy and demanding role that will require the post holder to manage their workload against a busy office diary.
The successful candidate will have proven previous recruitment experience and use of previous NHS systems and packages including TRAC and ESR.
Good communication skills are vital for liaising between all the teams involved in the recruitment process and organisational skills are key to managing the workload.
