Job summary
EPUT is looking to appoint a LAS Trust Grade CT Level doctor who will provide consistent, high quality medical support to the community hospital wards, within EPUT based in either St Margaret's, Epping or Saffron Walden in West Essex.
Main duties of the job
The LAS Trust Grade will work alongside the Specialty Doctors, Physician Associates, Nurses, AHP's, Social Workers in Community hospital wards to assess and examine patients, present them, initiate and interpret investigations and recommend treatment. Career development will be encouraged and supported with opportunities to develop expertise in all areas of medicine, rehabilitation, stroke services and in performing practical procedures.
A specialist interest in a sub-specialty area of the post holders choice will be encouraged and supported, e.g. Stroke
Liaison with other professionals and specialties will be required as the community hospital interacts with all other specialties. The post holder will be expected to develop good working relationships with healthcare providers ranging from primary to tertiary care. The post will also offer opportunities to rotate to other specialties and will be aimed at ensuring completion of educational and development requirements to attain professional revalidation.
