We have an exciting opportunity to join our CAMHS family as a Band 5 Nurse within the an inpatient mental health services for children and young in Colchester, Essex
The St Aubyn Centre boasts two wards. The 15 bedded general acute ward, Longview. And the 10 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward, Larkwood. There are positions on both wards as we are increasing our existing nursing establishment.
The unit has an extensive MDT and on site education department that has been rated as outstanding.
We are able to provide further CAMHS training via our CAMHS preceptorship programme, but also opportunities for further development in DBT skills, ASD and more.
This post would suit someone who is passionate about young peoples mental health and improving outcomes for young people.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the CAMHS St Aubyn Centre nursing team, at Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to help promote our continued levels of excellent high quality care for young people with mental health and emotional wellbeing issues and their families.
The successful applicant will work as a member of our multi- disciplinary team involved in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents who access our services.
