Job summary
You are invited to join an innovative staff resilience hub, 'Here For You', which has won a national award, and be a part of the sub-division of Serious Incident support for staff across EPUT and the Essex system. Working collaboratively, you will be part of a wide team, consisting of Consultant, Principal and qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, High Intensity workers, a Family Therapist, Clinical Associates in Psychology, Assistant Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, a Project Manager and Administrator. The sub-team focused on Serious Incident support will fall under the auspices of the wider 'Here For You' service.
Following a successful pilot period during which support was offered to staff following a wide range of serious incidents, funding has been secured for this much needed and appreciated resource. The sub-team will be responsible for both a timely response for staff following serious incidents; support for staff going through the coronial process; and building of resilience in a pre-emptive way for staff as they manage work within high risk environments.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:
. Providing timely response to staff following serious incidents
. Creating a package of care for staff who could in the future be involved in serious incidents
. liaising with stakeholders across the Essex health and social care system to provide appropriate support to staff in partner organisations following serious incidents;
. supporting the clinical lead of serious incident support within Here For You in the delivery of the offer;

- Formal training and accreditation to Doctoral level in Clinical Psychology, or its equivalent for those who trained prior to 1996. Doctoral level Counselling Psychology will be acceptable if the post holder has proven interest or skills in physical health/behavioural medicine. Training should include models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies. Alternatively, relevant training as a High Intensity Therapist with significant evidence of leadership and organisational experience or recognised accreditation
