Shift Patterns - The mass vaccination programme runs across an 8am-8pm, 7 day a week service. The shift patterns available are; 8am-8pm, 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm.

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is recruiting for the vaccination programme across Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System, delivered in partnership with EPUT. The Trust is delighted to have been appointed as one of the three lead providers in the region and is committed to ensuring that the vaccine is delivered to the public at the highest standard.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Healthcare Professional working in one of EPUT's vaccination centres, you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of covid-19 vaccinations to the local area. You will undertake activities such as clinical assessment and drawing up of the vaccine, as directed by the Clinical Manager of the vaccination centre.

All online and face-to-face training (where applicable) will be available prior to commencing work in the vaccination centres, meaning that refresher training will be provided if you feel it is necessary. You will also receive additional support from the Clinical Manager at the vaccination centre as and when required.

Preparation of the vaccine prior to administration by the vaccinators using the right technique. Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies and procedures.
