Job summary
The Children's Learning Disability Service have an exciting opportunity for a Band 8a Clinical Manager to join the teamYou will lead the operation and development of the Children's Learning Disability Service (CLDS) for Essex, Southend and Thurrock with overall management responsibility for the delivery of the clinical model, business planning, budget management and staff management to enable delivery of access, activity, finance staff performance and quality targets.You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services.A key part of this job role will be overseeing the execution of the teams recent transformation from a North-Essex only provision, into a county-wide service across the Southend, Essex and Thurrock footprint. This will include deliverance of targets in line with the Transforming Care Agenda and the NHS 10 Year Plan.We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates to drive this forward and would welcome applications from those who have extensive clinical experience in the field of Learning Disabilities.
Main duties of the job
You will lead the operation and development of the Children's Learning Disability Service (CLDS) for Essex, Southend and Thurrock with overall management responsibility for the delivery of the clinical model, business planning, budget management, and staff management, to enable delivery of access, activity, finance, staff performance and quality targets.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7 day a week, 24 hours a day service for 365 days a year.
