Job summary
The post holder will be a senior member of staff working in a leadership role providing supporting advice to staff working within the Psychiatry Liaison Team and Crisis Assessment Team.
Main duties of the job
Maintain clinical direction and leadership, coordinating a team of clinical staff for thecontinuous and consistent provision of high-quality mental health care to people with mentalhealth crisis in Psychiatry Liaison and the Crisis Pathway.Carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development,implementation and evaluation of care programs.Demonstrate within the team, clinical leadership and knowledge of a range of therapeuticinterventions available to reduce distress for individuals experiencing an acute mental healthcrisis.Lead the team in a way that supports the development of a culture of continuousimprovement and learning.Ensure the voice of service users and carers are captured and listened to.Ensuring there is a framework for the ongoing clinical supervision and caseload managementwithin the team, and for monitoring standards of clinical practice.Facilitate regular time and space for team reflection.
