We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic CQC Programme Officer to help support the delivery of the Trusts internal CQC preparedness Programme CQC@ELFT, support implementation of the Trusts new CQC preparedness strategy, and maintain positive relationships with CQC through timely information sharing.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for delivering CQC priorities. They will be involved in day-to-day administrative management of the work such as managing enquiries from CQC and preparation for key meetings and inspections. The post holder will also lead on coordination and data analysis required as part of the CQC@ELFT work stream. The post holder will also need design communication materials and resources to support clinical teams understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will contribute to committee reports where required and will be expected to deliver training on QA processes to clinical staff and service users.

The successful candidate will need experience of working in the NHS and an understanding of quality assurance and regulatory requirements. The post holder will have excellent communication, data management and IT skills, ability to work against regular deadlines by effectively managing own workload and priorities. They will demonstrate the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively; but most importantly they will hold dear the values of the trust, and have a passion for quality and for improving patient and staff experience.

The post holder will have an opportunity to undertake training to become a Quality Improvement Coach, and have direct involvement in quality improvement work in the Trust, as well as bringing those skills to bear in the quality assurance field.
