Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a part time Team Administrator for the Bedford Adult ADHD Service , based at Twinwoods Resource Center based in Clapham Bedford. This is an busy role and the ability to multi-task is key, as Adult ADHD is a complex pathway and requires compassion, dedication and organisation. This position is suitable for an individual who is extremely passionate about patient care and displays sensitivity around memory problems/dementia.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative support to a small, but busy team of Consultants, Doctors, and Nurses, who support service users going through the Adult ADHD pathway, from referral to diagnosis.

- Good standard of Written and Spoken English

- Computer Literacy
- Word processing skills (MSOffice Word)
- 60-70 wpm typing speed
- Data entry skills
- Familiarity with switchboard duties .
- Good communication and skills including the ability to interpersonal communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to type using digital dictation recordings.
- Exercise own judgement when dealing with enquiries from patients,
- Ability to prioritise workload, plan and organise own time effectively
- Ability to act independently, and on own initiative.
- Ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team in a pressured environment
