This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAMHS clinician to join the South Bedfordshire CAMHS Service. We are looking for a clinician from a core CAMHS discipline (MH Nursing, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Systemic Family Psychotherapy or Clinical/Counselling Psychology) to join the CAMHS Adolescent Mental Health Team.

Main duties of the job
The primary role of the South Bedfordshire CAMHS Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT) is to support adolescents experiencing complex and serious mental health problems. The AMHT delivers a robust multidisciplinary team approach offering individual, family and group interventions which are evidence based and trauma informed. There are also opportunities to develop unique services for the local population using a quality improvement approach, depending on the need expressed and demand.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced mental health practitioner to join our friendly and professional team. The post-holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy, self-management and drive with the ability to work well in a team and within the multi-agency environment.
This post will provide a highly specialist mental health service to children, young people and their families, who have complex mental health needs by offering specialist assessment and treatment packages of care. This is a community based post, located within the Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT) care pathway offering flexible, evidence based episodes of care to manage complex clinical presentations and ensure that the optimum level of care is achieved. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be a highly visible presence in clinical practice.
