Job summary

You will provide comprehensive confidential secretarial and administrative support within the Admin Department spanning three sites within the Forensic Service.
You will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be flexible and adaptable whilst having the ability to prioritise work and use your initiative in order to make sound judgements. You will be responsible for developing administration systems for the service and providing day to day administrative support to the service, within the context of a 'paper light' office. The post requires the ability to liaise effectively with a broad range of professions and service users and to maintain client confidentiality.
The role requires knowledge and experience of RiO, Reporting services & PowerBi and how they relate to the teams' Key Performance Targets.

Main duties of the job
- To communicate effectively with a wide range of people from different backgrounds. Dealing sensitively and tactfully with clients and their parents/carers in person, or on the telephone.
- To work across two sites.
- To work flexibly as a Team member in order that essential priority tasks are covered and dealt with.
- To liaise with Estates and Facilities regarding facilities used by the Team
- To report to the Team Manager any issues that are of concern relating to health and safety of the building.
- To take and relay clear messages. This includes handling queries from other professionals and obtaining information to enable these to be dealt with as effectively and speedily as possible.
- To use information technology for a range of purposes.
