Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse who holds the SPQDN and clinical skills to work within our integrated Primary Care Hub, covering Mid of Bedfordshire (Ampthill, Shefford, Biggleswade). This newly developed post will help support newly appointed nurses into post, ensuring a robust induction into their role and competency sign off. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring the wider teams competencies are also up to date and reviewed periodically. This is a friendly, dedicated and supportive team where professional guidance is readily available. The successful candidate will be expected to support in the absence of the Primary Care at Home Manager or Team Lead's.

Main duties of the job

  • Post-registration qualification in District Nursing
  • Demonstrable evidence of significant post-registration nursing experience, including in a community setting
