Band: 5 - 1.0 wte

CALLING ALL QUALIFIED AND SOON TO QUALIFY PWPS!! The Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service are looking for PWPs to join their amazing team!

PWPs within the Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service offer initial assessments to patients entering into the service as well as offering step 2 interventions through cCBT (silvercloud), Psychoeducational Groups and Guided Self-Help. We work closely with our step 3 colleagues to ensure patients can move through the service effectively as well as working with third sector partnership organisations to make referrals.

We pride ourselves on our excellent CPD package for PWPs. We offer internal and external training for PWPs to cover topics such as treating OCD at step 2, working with post-natal depression and using CBT-i (CBT for Insomnia).

Main duties of the job

We also encourage all of our PWPs to work on a Champion Project / Specialist Area. We give allocated time for PWPs to work on improving access to hard to reach groups as well as ensuring what we offer patients meets their needs. Some champion projects we have currently include BAME, Older Adults, Younger Adults and LGBTQ+.

The service very much cares about your wellbeing and we have a lot of wellbeing initiatives to support staff such as yearly away days, face to face meetings and events and a wellbeing hour each month!

If you are a qualified or nearly qualified PWP, Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service might be the right place for you!
