Main duties of the job
As Clinical Director you'll work with a focussed leadership team to support more than 300 colleagues in delivering community health services in the London Borough of Newham. Our integrated nursing and therapy teams care for frail patients in their own homes, while specialist teams provide clinic-based and domiciliary care across more than 15 service lines. You'll provide clinical advice to colleagues, lead our Quality Improvement system, and collaborate with ICS partners to develop effective, patient-centred services.

Community Health Newham is a part of East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT), rated Outstanding by the CQC. GPs are employed on a bespoke contract based onthe BMA model contract for salaried GPs, and are able to access a wide range ofemployment benefits including mandatory training which is transferrable to other NHSemployers. ELFT employs GPs in a number of other teams, including regular APMS practices, homeless-specialist practices, intermediate care, eating disorders and substance misuse services.
