Band 8b Clinical Psychologist
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Band 8b Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team in Tower Hamlets.
This post is part of a comprehensive, large, effective, socially and culturally diverse Child and Adolescence Mental Health Service, within the East London NHS Foundation Trust that have strong links in the Borough with the Community Paediatric Service, Children with Disabilities teams, National Autistic Society locally as well as with specialist schools for children with autism.

Main duties of the job
Neurodevelopmental team of clinicians that currently includes Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Integrative Systemic Psychotherapist, Community Mental Health Nurse and Assistant Psychologist. The successful candidate will be contributing to the further strategic development and delivery of comprehensive assessment and intervention in line with local strategies and national priorities, working in partnership with a range of agencies.

About us
ELFT CAMHS is a well-established multidisciplinary service that provides a comprehensive stepped model of care for children, young people and their families in the locality. The service compromises teams of clinicians that currently includes Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Integrative Systemic Psychotherapist, Community Mental Health Nurse and a variety of other key psychological therapy and clinical disciplines. As well as providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention as part of the Neurodevelopmental Team (NDT), the Clinical Psychologist will help to coordinate the delivery of the service as well as provide specialist supervision, consultation, training and direct clinical interventions. The NDT works with children and young people with moderate and severe learning disabilities, and those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition, and their carers and families.
