Lead Nurse for health & Well-being - Band 8a (subject to AfC confirmation)

Main duties of the job

    The purpose of this Nurse leadership post is to assist the Trust to achieve one of its key strategic outcomes - Improved Staff Experience' and make a key contribution to the ongoing development and delivery of the Trust's health and wellbeing agenda. The importance of Staff Health and Wellbeing has grown since the Covid-19 Outbreak, making the expertise and leadership that this post provides necessary to workforce retention and staff experience.

    The post holder will be working with in a formal partnership with City University School of Health Sciences to build a link with pre and post registration students to support their transition into East London Foundation Trust, providing an understanding of Trust values and its commitment to staff health, wellbeing and professional development. With City University they will assist in building the evidence base of knowledge and insights to what is important and meaningful to staff, to be best equipped to manage their health and wellbeing within the health and social care sectors.

About us

The post holder will work closely with the Bank extension Senior Nurse to enable smooth registration of pre-registration students onto Tryst bank with the hope to appoint them substantively after their training.
