Job summary
Are you a dynamic, motivated, assertive and skilled Administrator looking for a challenge? We are recruiting to a Band 4 Administrator post to support the Quality and Performance Team in Bedfordshire.
The post holder will manage and monitor the service area performance objectives and targets for the service; and establish effective performance management systems and schedules in relation to both clinical and non-clinical activity.
Main duties of the job
You will be resilient and reliable, have a proven track record of organisational and excellent communications skills and be able to work to fixed deadlines. You will be dealing with people at all levels (internal and external), developing teamwork and meeting tight deadlines.

- oQualification in secretarial and administrative skills or equivalent, e.g. RSA III (or equivalent), NVQ Level III (or equivalent),or equivalent experience
- oEvidence of advanced level knowledge of IT systems in particular Microsoft Office software packages; e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Desirable
- oA good understanding of the NHS and the way it works

- oSignificant previous experience supporting Associate Directors/Senior Managers in Senior Administrator /Personal Assistant role.
- oExperience of preparation of reports and taking of minutes, together with setting agendas and distribution of associated papers in a variety of settings.
- oExperience of arranging complex conferences/seminars and large meetings.
- oExperience of managing complex diaries.
- oExperience of organising travel and accommodation requirements.
- oExperience in composing correspondence for approval.
- oAble to prioritise and plan work in a busy environment and to tight deadlines delegating where appropriate and planning other's workload.
- oWell-developed office skills including the reviewing and/or setting up of systems
