Then come and join the Quality Improvement (QI) Department at East London Foundation Trust (ELFT). We are looking for two Improvement Advisors to join the team. The department has consistently positive reports for staff experience, with members scoring 4.6/5 for the people I work with are friendly and 4.3/5 for I have the resources I need to do a good job. Main duties of the job

ELFT continues to work to embed improvement into the way in which the organisation works and has gained an international reputation as a leader in QI. About the role

The Improvement Advisor (IA) will be part of a central team that operates as the organisations internal resource for improvement expertise. They will possess a deep understanding of improvement methodology and how to work with people to support them to apply QI to tackle their most challenging issues.

The post holder will work with several directorates to help them develop and deliver robust structures to support effective QI. This will involve building relationships with stakeholders, supporting local QI coaches, coaching high priority projects and helping teams tell their stories of improvement. As part of the role, IAs are responsible for delivering QI training across the trust.

The role is based in London with the opportunity for some flexible and hybrid working. At times you will be required to travel across the geography of the Trust which includes across London, Bedfordshire and Luton.

Previous members of the department have taken the experience they have gained at ELFT and gone on to pioneer large scale place-based transformation programmes, lead their own Improvement teams, take national improvement roles and provide advisory services to multiple parts of the healthcare system.
