Mental Health Social Worker- Band 6 Older Adults Community Mental Health Team
We are pleased to advertise a position in the Bedford Older Adults CMHT based in Bedford. The successful post holder will join a Multi- Disciplinary Team consisting of Nurses, OT's , Psychologists and Psychiatrists along with 3 other Social Workers in the team.
You will have the support, guidance and supervision via the Teams Senior Social Worker Practitioner and the Team Manager.
You will have a passion for working with Older Adults and experience of working either in the Health Sector or Social Care Sector directly with service users with Mental Health needs including functional ill health and/ or Dementia.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:? - Thorough understanding and working knowledge of mental disorder and the treatment options.

- Ability to assess manage complex and high risk situations effectively and to the benefit of ? A/I Page 2 of 3 service users and carers

- Ability to manage and coordinate professionals, teams and services and mobilise provision where appropriate
