Job summary
We are seeking an organised and motivated administrator to join our Vulnerable Children's Team (VCT) within the Children's Safeguarding Service at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Previous clerical experience in health services would be desirable. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring an optimum level of efficient administrative support to the nursing team in a timely and accurate manner to enable delivery of this high-quality service to children and families by the health professionals. Previous experience of handling sensitive and confidential information is essential.
Main duties of the job
The role is non patient facing and would include requesting health information for patients and uploading shared information such as Multi Agency Risk Assessment (MARAC) and Safeguarding information to EMIS electronic patient records once signed off by a clinical nurse.
The role includes working along side the Safeguarding Children and Children in Our Care Teams supporting their admin function as and when needed. The service operates between the core hours of 08:30am and 17.00pm Monday to Friday for which administrative support is required.
