Job summary
The successful candidate will join the innovative specialist nursing speciality within a highly motivated Continence Service. The team consists of nurses and an administrative secretary . They will also be working closely with the Consultant Urologists from the specialist centre from Stepping Hill providing support for patients in primary and secondary care.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Senior Continence Specialist Nurse will be to offer high level clinical assessments and reviews to patients in a nurse led community clinic and in their own home, implementing a clinical care plan to support the patient in their home environment.
The post holder will demonstrate a high level of understanding of bladder and bowel conditions and associated disorders and be able to translate that into practice.
