We are looking for highly motivated Staff Nurse who can contribute to continuing our high standards of patient's care and be part an active team that are progressing forward in developing improved methods of care. Our ward of M4 is an area that specialises in fractured neck of femurs.
Unfortunately at this time we can not accept anyone who requires flexible working or that is pre-osce.
We are a 27 bedded unit that specialises in trauma and orthopaedics along with complex elderly medicine. We are a multi-disciplinary team that are looking in to innovative ways to constantly improve upon the care we provide to our patients.

Main duties of the job
The main duties will be looking after our patient's who on a ward caring for their holistic and medical needs. The role will require you to work with patients of varying needs and complexity.
We care for pre and post operative patients that have been admitted to the hospital with a fracture to their hip.
There is a requirement with this role to also mentor junior staff/students in the future in line with NMC code.

- Venesection for which full training with a competency, will be given
- Patient care pre and post day case procedure
