Main duties of the job
The main duties are to provide administrative support for the smooth running of clinical community services mainly Palliative Care Respite and District Nursing Services.
The post holder will be familiar with a full range of administrative tasks and provide outstanding customer service, accuracy and attention to detail.
The post holder will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the service and may be required to work from any community healthcare base in Stockport according to the needs of the service.

Be the first point of contact for visitors to the building, providing information and directions, meet and greet.
Answer enquiries via phone email or face to face in relation to patient care.
To provide a full range of administrative tasks using IT skills in Microsoft packages ensuring a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
The post holder will be required to work in close liaison with NHS colleagues, patients and the public.
Access and update patient records via the Electronic Patient Record system.
To work as part of a team and to carry out tasks set by the Assistant Business Support Manager
To be conversant with of all the services offered within the integrated care business group.
Knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Patient Confidentiality, Risk Management and Health and Safety Procedures
To complete all Mandatory Training and E-Learning as required e.g. fire safety, manual handling.
To undertake collation of data to assist in audits at community sites as directed by the Assistant Business Support Manager
