Job summary

This is a full or part time position for a healthcare assistant within the critical care department. The position will involve rotating between intensive care and high dependency.

Main duties of the job

Duties and Responsibilities

To communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

To maintain a safe and clean environment

To carry out routine administrative/telephone related tasks

To communicate effectively when giving/receiving verbal and written information.

To provide direct patient care including assisting with hygiene, dressing, mobility and feeding.

To communicate with patients and their families
