Job summary

Ward D6 is a busy surgical day case and pre operative admissions unit. We have on average 50-60 patients per day.

We are a very busy unit but our team is very welcoming. If you fancy a new challenge then this could be your role.

Main duties of the job

Booking patients to the ward on the ward booking system.

Welcoming patients to the ward and admitting them.

Prepping notes ready for admissions.

Filing - tracking and ordering of medical case notes.

Answering queries not only over the phone but in person as well.

Helping the multidisciplinary team with the information they require.

Ordering of office supplies and ward supplies.

The post holder must have good experience in IT systems.

You will be working in a small team but we are looking for someone who is also confident working on their own and using their own initiative.
