Job summary

To perform administrative and clerical duties for patients attending Radiology.

To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high standards of patient care, assisting the Radiographers in the clinical area. The post holder will work under the supervision of a Radiographer qualified in their relevant area.

Main duties of the job

To perform administrative and clerical duties for patients attending Radiology. To work as part of the weekend and evening team during the hours of 9:00am - 4:30pm and 4:30pm-midnight across 7 days. Some daytime weekday working may be required to facilitate training. To assist the Radiographers during patient examinations in the Radiology Department working within the scope of department procedures and practices. To be responsible for the care and comfort of the patient whilst in the Department.
