Band 3 Secretary post - 22.5 hours per week
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual to join the Integrated Care Division. Providing a confidential and comprehensive service to support the delivery of the Quality and Improvement Agenda.
This role requires a highly organised person with the ability to prioritise their workload, to work in a calm and effective manner and communicate well at all levels. The post holder will be required to exercise initiative and judgement based on acquiring knowledge and experience when dealing with enquiries of both a clinical and non-clinical nature.
Work is varied, interesting and sometimes challenging and requires someone who has a strong work ethic, a desire to work in a fast paced environment and who can work unsupervised.
The post holder will be required to arrange and coordinate meetings, taking minutes, typing up documents and managing busy diaries for the Divisional Nursing & Therapy Director and Divisional Medical Director.
With your previous experience of working in a busy office based environment you should have the ability to demonstrate accurate working and be able to work well as part of a team.
The administration team is a very friendly team and the work is diverse.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to plan and undertake additional work as required.
Undertake duties delegated by management, using own initiative, and working without supervision.
To provide a courteous and diplomatic point for enquiries.
The post holder must be able to maintain a total level of confidentiality and be able to understand and act on information.
The post holder will be familiar with a full range of clerical/secretarial tasks and undertake specific duties.
To provide secretarial support to senior managers as required.
